This ankle-length maxi dress draws from the deep well of Chinese textile tradition — the frog button, the tonal jacquard, the flowing silhouette — and reframes them in a language that is entirely contemporary. The V-neckline opens with a clean, relaxed line, anchored at the centre by a traditional Chinese frog button — a hand-knotted fabric closure that is one of the most recognisable details in Chinese dress-making. Here it is used with restraint: a single knot button at the neckline that signals the design's cultural reference without overstating it.

The side drawstring ruching is the dress's defining structural detail. Shrinkage:

• This fabric will shrink after washing — this is a normal characteristic of the material
• Depending on washing method, length may reduce by 5–10 cm. For a relaxed, oversized fit, we recommend sizing up.
• Please refer to the size guide and select accordingly, accounting for your personal washing habits

Colour:

• Deeper colourways may release excess dye during the first wash — this is completely normal
• First wash: Use cool water only. Add a small amount of salt to help set the colour. Do not use hot water or detergent on the first wash
• After the first wash, colour will stabilise and fading will not recur

Washing Rules:
